About Me

Kunde Vineyard; Sonoma Valley, California
I travel. A lot. Not nearly as much as I wish I was, but more than most. Whenever I travel, I try to absorb the culture and experiences of wherever I go, be it a small town in Southern Georgia or traveling around the world. Here are some things, thoughts, and experiences I have collected since becoming a traveling saleswoman.

My name is Emily Accipiter. I was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, raised in Mount Holly, North Carolina, and went to college at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina.

Upon graduation from Clemson, I entered the 'real world' and got a big-girl job in a big-girl town (Raleigh, North Carolina). Recently, my job has moved me to Greenville, South Carolina: a charming town that I quickly fell in love with. I have been fortunate enough to have a job doing what I enjoy, that gives me the freedom to satisfy my wanderlust while exploring small towns for my job.

In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga, riding my bike, looking for antique furniture, and planning (and executing!) my travels around the world.I have two cats that I rescued from an animal shelter that have given me more love and affection then I could have possibly imagined. Only a pet owner can understand the joy of coming home and seeing happy tiny faces waiting to greet you and only wanting food, a warm lap, and a hand to scratch under their chin in return.

I grew up in a family that always went somewhere new for vacations, fostering a love of new places and new experiences. I have huge ambitions to see every continent, every country, and soak in everything I can. I am now armed with a new and wonderful camera (awesome birthday gift mom & dad!) so I can bring home my memories with me.

I intend for my blog to be a collection of my thoughts, favourite places, and great finds while out exploring the world.

Since getting engaged to my long-time boyfriend, my blog will also start featuring things relating to wedding prep and the pains of planning a wedding (when all you want to do is be hitched already!)
