A Slice of Heaven - Andrews, SC

Last week on my business trip, I was lucky enough to be directed to A Slice of Heaven Bakery & Deli located in Andrews, South Carolina.

Now Andrews is an absolutely tiny town located between Myrtle Beach and Charleston, with a charming downtown and some delicious eats.

I am always in search for an amazing Chicken Salad, and this place definitely tops the list! A delicious blend with some dried cranberries made this lunch stop a treat (as did the moist red velvet cupcake I had for dessert!)

The two ladies working that we got to talk to also added to the environment. Both had military ties (Christine had married into the military and moved from Guam, Cindy was raised by a military family) and had been friends with each other since they met in Guam.

Overall, it was a delicious place to stop for a quick lunch in a small town, and support local businesses.
